Sorry no cute photos of the little man with a shirt saying something like MOMMAS HEARTBREAKER of something silly (I wish)- my camera sucks I hate it and never really want to pick it up at this point. I have it hidden away in a drawer without the battery charged. We have been discussing getting a new camera because ours is 5 yrs old and just can't keep up with Bryden, and I don't blame it there are some days I can't either. It has smudged little Bryden prints all over the lense so now the photos not only are just a quick shadow of what Bryden use to be doing when I intended for the photo to be taken it is also blurry. I am sure once the house gets sold it will be our top priority behind, new living room furniture, new kitchen table, new bedroom furniture, 2 new fridges, new basement furniture. I would LOVE to get a new camera before Aaron and Stephanie's wedding in August - so maybe an early birthday present - and for sure before we have another child.
Anyway, today Casey is working and my little Valentine and I are spending the day at home. Bryden got a new curious george book and some chocolate candy from us. Grandma and Papa stopped by last night and he got a new train shirt and some lighting McQueen sunglasses. We saw Nana and Papa last weekend and he got a new jogging suite and a Lighting McQueen pillow case along with the book Goodnight Moon.
We are making Daddies favorite cake - Ice Box Cake - for his valentines day treat.
I asked for no flowers because they just die and I think maybe they are a waste just at home since no one will really see them and no choclate since I am on a diet and would defeat the purpose of my hour with Jillian Michaels and Kirsten. SO we will see, don't really care if I get anything because spending the day with Bryden and an evening with Casey is enough for me. Casey did call this morning to make sure I was really serious about not getting anything. I think he wanted to make sure it wasn't a trick - you know me saying "ah honey you don't have to get me anything" but meaning "ah honey I want something sweet and romantic and expensive" (but I don't want you to know and you will be in big trouble if there is not a gift) I don't know why he would think I would do that :)

ReplyDeleteHaha, I think Valentine's Day is retarded so I didn't get Kenny a card or anything. That was kinda mean since he got me a card, but at least Sofie gave him one. I did bake cookies though!
