My Laundry List

Well not much going on here...
One. We are in the process of selling our house with one to two showings a week sometimes, which I think is great for this time of year. But the SOLD sign could not come soon enough since we need to get started on the construction of our new house IF and that is a big freakin IF the builder will ever return our attempts to contact them. Frustrated is how I feel right now about that. But I am hopeful it will all work out and in six short months we will be in a new home.

Two. I have been working on save the dates for both Kirsten and Stephanie that has been a lot of fun. Have I mentioned how much I love weddings?

Three. Kirsten and I have been working out three nights a week and I have been adding one to two days of my own. It has been nice to get back into working out and especially nice to have someone to suffer with. It will all be worth it when we are on the beach in mexico in december especially since we have about 4 weddings the summer which in turns brings showers and bachelorette parties and new clothes :) I can already feel the difference. We have been doing some FitTV with Gilad Sharon Mann and Cathe, some Jillian Michaels from Biggest Loser, some TaeBo with Billy Blanks it has been a nice variety. Bryden insist on running in an sitting on my back during push ups and jumping on my stomach during sit ups OH and don't forget the kiss that turns into mouth to mouth thrown in the middle of all that.

Four. My father was sent to Iowa last week to work the snow/ice storm. Ft. Scott was the last town that would have the option to be sent to Iowa and Independence took the order so Dad thought he would get to stay home but by noon last Thursday they had sent them all home to pack. Instead of sending one crew they were sending 30 crews so Dad packed up and headed North. I always worry about him it is long hours about 12 to 16 hr days and a lot of hard work.

Five. Bryden still is having a hard time staying in bed at night. Luckily our trip to Fritz's this weekend with the Ambles and Nana wore him out so Saturday - of course the evening my mom volunteered to take on the bedtime task - was super easy just carried him up and he didn't crawl out once. whew wish it was that easy every night. So far it is a great workout up and down stairs for an hour plus lifting a 27lb child back into their bed.

Six. With my promotion last month I have taken on some new duties at work which is keeping me on my toes. I love the fast paced environment and we are only doing half the order we will be in a few months.

Seventh. It appears Koda, our yellow lab, may need surgery this week. Both Koda and Maddox have allergies or something that causes almost like a yeast infection in their ears. Koda shakes and itches his ears and today one is either filled with blood of fluid I guess we will see tommorrow when Casey takes him to the vet, but it is puffed up and swollen and he cries when you get near. Poor thing. Koda almost cost us $1500 this past summer when he decided to eat a corn cob, I know this ear thing is not his fault but I think we have almost spent as much on Koda's medical bills than what it cost to have Bryden.

Eighth. We went to Fritz's this weekend as I mentioned with the Ambles and Nana. Bryden LOVED all the trains and his bun dipped in Ketchup. It was a great atmosphere if you are ever looking for something new we went to the one on Shawnee Mission Pkwy. Pretty good burgers, not as great as Five Guys but still good!

Ninth. Casey has been asked to audition for the role of minister at Kirsten and Tristan's wedding. don't laugh. I know if he makes the cut he will do a great job.

Last but not Least. Casey has decided that he will be the fatest man on the beach when we go to Mexico in December. While Kirsten and I work out he works on his girl scout cookie lifts. I came home a few weeks ago to find a stash of 11 boxes of girl scout cookies in our freezer and that is just what made it home, who knows if there are cookies in his desk drawer at work. He slowly but surley eats a few each night. Sharing one or two with Bryden and none with me - which is probably a good thing and I don't really mind.
